Victor Samalot / solo acoustic instrumental guitarist








Victor Samalot has been playing professionally for over 25 years with a successful career performing in concerts, Festivals, television appearances, film scoring, studio sessions, and teaching guitar. An accomplished guitarist, he is the co-founder  for rock - fusion group Rare Blend (1994-2010) with 5 CD releases receiving college & internet radio airplay and CD sales in the US, Europe, South America, Japan, etc...Rare Blend has also gained rave reviews regionally and worldwide from major publications such as All About Jazz, Jazz Review, 20th Century Guitar magazine, Progression Magazine, Relix Magazine, Akron Beacon Journal, The Plain Dealer, Cleveland Scene, and many more...


Since 2009, Victor started performing as an acoustic instrumental guitarist inspired by Jazz, Latin, Rock, Ambient and World rhythms. Some of Victor's guitar influences are Carlos Santana, Jeff Beck, Ottmar Liebert, Craig Chaquico, Jesse Cook, Phil Keaggy, Jose Feliciano, David Gilmour, and others.... In 2011, he came out with his first solo acoustic CD entitled "Victor Samalot". When performing live, Victor uses digital looping technology, which is a foot-activated device capable of simultaneous recording beats, bass lines, chords / rhythms, and playback in real-time, creating a one man band sound.
